Starting Conversations with Everyone

As much as we wanted to, not everything is going to come easy in life. Specially when it comes to networking.
Since we’re not always going to have that “popular” friend around to get us introduced to the people we are interested in, sometimes it’s us who have to go out there and start chatting. And even if we were introduced, that’s no guarantee that the other person will be friendly to us or wiling to be nice, leaving us all the hard and uncomfortable work of trying to get words out of their mouths.
If you come to think about it, these situations occur every day and in any aspect of our lives. From wanting to meet a person that we like and feel attracted to, to that CEO of the company you have always dreamed working for.
That instant where we stand so close but yet it feels so far that we can’t reach it is what defines our future and our personalities. Why? Because if we walk away because we’re too shy or afraid of being rejected, we will probably never have a chance to do it again and we would close doors that could have taken us on a different path.
But if instead, we see it as an opportunity or a challenge, as much intimidating as the other person might be or how timid we are, deciding to step up with a simple talk can lead us far, even more than expected.
According to Bernard Marr, best-selling author, keynote speaker and consultant, conversation starters are not that hard to put into practice. See and follow the image below and let us know if it works. For further reading you can see hi’s post
