Punctuality is essential in work life as well as every day tasks. Why is it important to be punctual? Punctuality shows you are giving importance to other people. Being late can be seen as not caring about others and not valuing their time. It also shows you are responsible and care about your tasks. Being on time reduces your amount of stress. Haven’t you been in the position where you wake up late because you snoozed, you can’t find your car keys, you get in your car and you have 5 miles to empty tank and to top it all your are already late and will surely hit traffic? Doesn’t this cause you morning stress?! What can you do to avoid this chaotic morning? Fill your gas tank and have your car keys, clothes and everything you need the next morning already prepared. Play with your alarm, if you know you are a “snoozer” then make sure to set your clock ahead. Set reminders for everything you will be doing the next day. Also, don’t overbook your agenda. If you will not be available to meet and your day already looks too crowded, then leave that meeting for another day because you will certainly be stressed or late.How do you manage your punctuality?!
