Administrative Assistant

Our client is looking for an experienced, versatile person who knows the Latin American culture, all the ins and outs of office administration and is prepared to grow with us.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Solid understanding of accounting and knowledge of Quickbooks
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions
  • Experience in A/P, A/R, payroll, and invoicing
  • Budgeting and cash flow management
  • Complete functionality in both English and Spanish, including ability to write correctly
  • Advanced handling of MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping including the general ledger, bank reconciliations, and generation of financial reports
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Budget control
  • Inventory control
  • Administrative support of two key executives
  • Support logistics functions, regarding shipments and movement of merchandise as well as payments and cash flow management
  • Interaction with outside CPA
  • Responsible for the smooth running of the executive office
