Construction Coordinator

Our client, a global leader in the construction industry, and an innovative place to work, is currently looking for a Construction Coordinator / Administrator.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Construction administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Attention to detail and a tolerance for working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated commitment to completion of projects on a timely basis
  • Ability to take initiative, multi-task & work well under pressure

Responsibilities

 

  • Subcontractor maintenance (contracts, insurances, billings and lien waivers)
  • Vendor coordination for material purchases and deliveries
  • Preparation and submittal of shop drawings and material data
  • Maintenance of project budgets, including cash projections
  • Preparation and submittal of project pay applications
  • Permit tracking through municipalities or government agencies, including close out requirements
  • Scheduling and coordination with field representatives and subcontractors
  • Preparation and submittal of project close-out documentation (warranties, operation manuals, maintenance data, etc.)
  • Management of incoming bid requests – prepare summaries and prioritize
  • Preparation and submittal of contract proposals for potential project

Education / Training

  • Babachelor’s degree or equivalent experience an asset
