Export Account Executive (Caribbean Region)

Our client, a leader distributor and exporter of meat and seafood in South Florida and The Caribbean,  is currently looking for a Export Account Executive (Caribbean Region) to identify new business opportunities by by tapping the potential customers from different countries.

The Export Sales Executive works to focus on developing new accounts and maintaining current accounts within the industry. A high emphasis is placed on increasing the availability and visibility of products in new and existing accounts.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • For the Caribbean market we are seeking an individual who is fluent in English, French and Spanish is a plus.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, develop and implement different sales activities by researching the customer’s needs and requirements
  • Make sure that the existing clients are retained and maintained while developing the new customers
  • Ensure that the all the sales and marketing activities are carried out within the agreed budgets, volume, sales, and within the given time scales
  • Take initiative and efforts to develop constructive and effective solutions to any issues that slow down or hamper the export procedures and activities
  • Constantly review distributor’s performance and monitor their work, so that relevant information can be provided to the management.
  • Attend meetings with other companies to negotiate, so that they assist in the overall growth and development of the business organization
  •  Carry out market research, conduct surveys and study the competitors and their marketing and sales strategies.
  • Make new plans that will help the organization race ahead in the competition by prioritizing the target countries.
  • Actively participate in the training sessions to improvise knowledge and skills.
  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions.
