LATAM Strategy Manager

Our client is one of the largest companies in the Food & Beverage industry worldwide. Looking for a M&A experienced professional to join their Strategy team.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Experience conducting market competitive bench-marking, competitive intelligence, value chain, and due diligence engagements across industries
  • Proficiency creating PowerPoint presentations, preparing executive summaries for top management & stakeholder
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting, GAAP, corporate finance, and valuation techniques required
  • Knowledge & experience on modeling and valuation techniques
  • Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) – written and spoken. Fluency in Portuguese would be a plus
  • Knowledge of P&L projections and financial performance analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Power point
  • Strong communications skills
  • 20% travel

Responsibilities

  • Conduct competitive benchmarking, competitive analyses, value chain, and source of advantage studies
  • Analyze strategic trade-offs and assessment of strategic alternatives
  • Prepare corporate presentations to top management, document important milestones, and manage competitive intelligence database
  • Support development of M&A roadmap for sector based on comprehensive analysis of opportunities
  • Develop financial analysis and strategic foundation for projects, competitive intelligence initiatives and business case presentations
  • Provide financial guidance and work closely with functional teams during due diligence process
  • Coordinate commercial/ strategic due diligence of acquisition targets
  • Coordinate business model validation with a focus on understanding business economics through income, cash flow, and balance sheet statements analysis and their interplay

Education / Training

  • MBA

Background

  • 4-6 years total professional work experience (at least 2 years post MBA)
  • Prior experience working at a Strategy Consulting firm
  • M&A experience at investment banking and/or consulting firms
