Our client is a nationwide mortgage loan provider with more than 200 employees and branches throughout the country , dedicated to the principle of service, to their clients, their employees, and their business partners.

They are looking for an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer with strong marketing, communication, and analysis skills to join our team and assist loan applicants in securing the ideal mortgage for their new home purchase. Our organization provides the support, and tools you need to bring your business to the next level.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Familiarity with multiple types of loans such as conventional, fixed/ adjustable, FHA, VA, USDA, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit
  • Requires compliance with lending regulations and bank underwriting guidelines and lending policies
  • Current NMLS State License or Federal NMLS Registration
  • Proven record of generate at least $800,000
  • Candidates Needs to Provide total generated in 2019

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the mortgage process to ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and the community at large in order to retain existing and attract new business
  • Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision
  • Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline
  • Work closely with industry related professionals to gather and prepare all necessary information to complete underwriting requirements
  • Takes applications
  • Enters files/uploading documents into the database
  • Follows up with clients
  • Gathers missing docs
  • Tracks mortgage pipeline
  • Calculates income and run DU
  • Helps clear conditions
  • Makes sure closings happen on time and put out fires
  • Realtor Follow-Up

Background

  • 3-5 years of real estate, mortgage origination, or lending experience required
  • Previous experience with Office Suite and loan originating software such as Experian, Calyx, or LendingWise preferred
