One of our clients, a growing company, with an energetic and fast-paced team in the construction industry, is looking for an Office Manager Bookkeeper.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Quickbooks- must be proficient
  • Outlook- must be proficient
  • Microsoft Office: Word, PPT, Excel
  • Quick study for job site documentation and project management application Requirements
  • Fundamental knowledge construction accounting – AIA & Job Costing
  • Highly accountable behavior with solid personal responsibility.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Must have highly effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the success of a team.
  • Must be passionate about company growth.
  • Organization, follow through, take-charge, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Construction Experience to perform Notice to Owner, Releases of Lien, AIA Schedule of Values, Payment Applications, Federal Wages Applications, etc.
  • AP & AR- Job costed AP
  • Perform monthly reconciliation: credit card & bank accounts
  • Post Monthly Sales Tax
  • Support the Owners and Project Managers with daily operations and office duties: maintain documentation and organization of job files
  • Receiving of office phone calls
  • Manage and organize administrative environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Manage vendors and sub-contractors payments and documentation
  • Manage HR duties as required
  • Request and document insurance certificates to clients
  • Manage and Renew Professional Licenses and Certifications
  • Assist with Project Closeout Documents
  • Preparation of Monthly Financial Reports to Owners and outside CPA
  • Multitask and prioritize work through effective time management
  • Work within the framework of the company’s defined policies, procedures, goal, and directives
