Our client is a leader in the Telecommunication Industry and they are currently seeking a Process Reengineering Lead for designing and implementing a global, cross-functional process improvement program for the wholesale telecommunications market

Position Summary:

Process Reengineering Lead: Will be responsible for designing and implementing a global, cross-functional process improvement program for the wholesale telecommunications market. He /she will develop a business improvement framework that aligns with strategic goals before guiding the planning, deployment and optimization of critical business processes. The ideal candidate will bring  experience mapping detailed business processes in wholesale telecommunications environment and a proven record of driving improvements in efficiency and quality via optimized business processes, elimination of duplicate efforts, waste and other related defects in the business process.


  • Lead multiple cross-functional process optimization and reengineering projects to completion and be responsible for managing timelines, project plans, priorities and relationships with all stakeholders as well as measuring the adherence and effectiveness of the completed initiatives.
  • Work effectively with internal and external resources to ensure prioritization and timely execution of process improvement projects and adopting change management
  • Measure, monitor and report on the effectiveness of solutions through key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct a hands-on approach to the day to day management of the core project team.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices and regulatory and compliance requirements, identify gaps and opportunities, and propose solutions.
  • Conduct Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) pilots, gather feedbacks, and integrate improvements into the roll out of the SOP model while promoting best practices.
  • Develop cost benefit analyses and return on investment (ROI) calculations to support and prioritize process improvement recommendations.
  • Own and inventory all business processes documentation.
  • Develop training concept and documentation material and conduct related trainings.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the identification, research and implementation of process improvements.
  • Develop, initiate and direct training programs at all organizational levels to drive the development and implementation of lean enterprise concepts.
  • Build a culture that fosters continuous learning and improvement.
  • Manage multiple projects at various phases and in various locations, from project plan to close.
  • Creates strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Provides input into contract negotiation.
  • Develops project Plan of Work (e.g., Gantt charts) specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification and mitigation of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
  • Consults with management, account managers, channel partners and customers to review project terms, conditions and requirements to determine project scope, including goals, time frame, funding/budget constraints, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and assignment of resources.
  • Identifies, maps and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.

Qualifications and competences:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field, from an accredited institution, required. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in Process Improvement, Project management, LEAN Practices  and consulting background within the Telecom Industry.
  • Change management experience
  • Sales and Commercial Process Optimization experience a plus.
  • Six Sigma Certification a Plus
  • eTOM Certification a plus.
  • Project management certification a plus.
  • – CRM Analytics a plus.
  • Strategic thinker who can collect and analyze data to make appropriate process decisions/recommendations.
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines with frequent interruptions and redefined priorities.
