Our client is a leading telecommunication and digital services provider that serves 50 million customers worldwide. They are currently looking for a Research Marketing Specialist to join their team in Panama!

Qualifications / Requirements

•        Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, research, I&D, quantitative and qualitative analytics

•        Proved experience as marketing or brand in a regional/LATAM environment

•        Proven experience and expertise in research and agency management

•        Adept at working in a data driven, fast moving environments with a bias for action

•        Proven success in developing and scaling a consumer brand

•        High energy and action-oriented

•        A history of leading teams to successful outcomes

•        An aggressive self-starter but still a humble team player with a collaborative style

•        Core competencies


•        Develop, lead, manage and execute Tigo Money research agenda

•        Provides and leverages core research data – primary and secondary research, data analytics, methodologies and tools and performance measurement

•        Leverages one or more of the following: intelligence to identify emerging consumer behaviors, scans competitive landscape, economic trends, inclusion, sustainability, and draws insights about customer needs and wants and communicates these insights/findings

•        Works proactively in a business partner role to proactively provide integrated, multi-disciplinary intelligence/insights that supports the development of strategies and measurement of effectiveness

•        Sets standards for intelligence globally, including vendor management, execution, analysis and communication

•        Guides and reviews research and analysis, including enhancement of existing methodology and reviewing results of forward-looking models, based on requests from internal customers

•        Guides research activities to predict future trends and industry landscapes, i.e., trend spotting

•        Reviews periodic performance tracking reports to inform internal customers of operational processes including quarterly reviews, yearly planning and dashboard reviews; provides clarification and guidance as needed

•        Monitors and makes adjustments to Research & Insights budget for own projects to ensure that all campaigns, programs, and activities are within allocated budget

Education / Training

Marketing or business administration, digital and engineer Masters Degree marketing or MBA
