Our client, is a a leading North American aluminum distributor, a nationwide Metals service center specializing in Aluminum products, is currently seeking a Sales Representative for the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Self motivated and aggressive with the ability to effectively prospect and direct your own sales business/ sales market
- Previous sales experience, previous inside Metals Service Center sales experience is a plus and also experience with manufacturers
- College Degree is preferred
- Detail-oriented aptitude required
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication sales skills
- Must be sharp and adaptable to many unique customer personalities
- Organizational multi-tasking and sales prospecting /follow up/closing abilities
- PC skills to include MS Office(must be proficient in Excel) and the ability to learn our unique ERP system, inventory, and database systems
- The desire to join a growing company and energetic team that will rapidly reward results

Responsibilities
- Sales of metals, primarily aluminum flat-rolled sheet, plate, and coil, to various manufacturers throughout North America
- Sales prospecting for generation of new business in our targeted markets
- Identification, qualification, and exploration of new markets/users for our materials
- Generate, receive, qualify, and quote customer inquiries for custom processed metal orders over the phone and via computer/email
- Complete and expedient sales cycle support from inquiry to invoice
- Customer relationship management to ensure account retention and repeat business
- Primarily Inside sales and some Outside face-to-face sales as needed
- Sales contact database development, maintenance, and reporting
- Information gathering of the metals distribution market, sales trends, competition, etc
- Communication and support with other sales personnel/national team
