Senior Sales Engineer

Our client in the IT Healthcare Industry is currently looking for a Senior Sales Engineer. The professional will demonstrate all software and services (including practice management, electronic health record and patient portal software as well as revenue cycle management services) and provide assistance to the Sales team on deep discovery to uncover prospects pain points, needs, and must-haves. The successful professional will have extensive healthcare technology experience and be able to fuse technical demonstration skills with sales skills.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience as a demonstration specialist or software sales executive at a healthcare IT company that sold practice management software, electronic health records and revenue cycle management.
  • Solid knowledge of healthcare regulations including but not limited to Meaningful Use, PQRS and MIPS.
  • Must possess strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate professionally with medical providers and C-level executives.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a must.
  • Experience with public speaking at tradeshows, webinars or user conferences is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support field sales in all aspects of the technical sale.  Facilitate deep discovery to uncover prospects identified pain.
  • Demonstrate product functionality (onsite or via webinar), as required Demonstrations will account for approximately 80% of the job responsibility.
  • Provide product demonstrations tailored to the prospective client, demonstrating how the product satisfies a prospect’s needs.
  • Use sales discovery and methodology to demonstrate software and services capabilities.
  • Drive actions that will lead sales to exceed yearly goals and activity targets.
  • Educate the prospect on our capabilities and how they relate to industry norms and best practices.
  • Be an expert on the competitive landscape and be able to position against competitors..
  • Provide a recommended deployment methodology to both the prospect and the Company’s professional services team.

Education / Training

Bachelor’s Degree.
