3 Steps to Improve User Experience: Recruiter-Client-Candidate

According to Jake Villarreal, as a recruiter working with your client, you need to focus on a more collaborative plan si that the hiring process improves positivley. Use these three steps to get started:
1. Increase Transparency
If you are a third-party recruiter the lack of transparency in the job description and information will never lead you to the path of finding the right candidate fit. When clients fail to effectively communicate the job responsibilities of an open position it will be extremely hard to match a candidate with the desired competences.
If this has happened to you, then you need to find a way to get that information. Basically, three pieces of information is what you need to increase the chances of placement success: the client’s vision, process, and the problem it’s trying to solve by filling the role.
2. Agree on a Process
Besides establishing the right communication, know you have to look to engage with your client in the same hiring process. Again, if the you have you own method and the client has another one and you done sync your precesses, submitting the right candidate will also be less probable.
3. DefineCandidate Goals
The key is to listen and understand the candidate’s individual goals first. Why? to help him achieve a better career experience.
It’s not about making the quickest placement with a candidate that will not be able to fulfil the role. Because that would mean, that in a short time your client might ask you to start looking for another candidate for the same position. You have to make sure your candidate is a good match between the company’s expectations and his own expectations. In the long run, this path will be more productive and beneficial for all the parties involved: you, your client and the candidate.
