There are some interview questions that Hiring Managers should think twice before asking. Many times we are involved in the conversation and forget to analyze which questions should be off limits during interviews.
To give you a heads up any questions like the ones mentioned below should be off limits.
- Have any children
- Questions in relation to age
- Citizenship Status
- Weight, height or physical appearance
- Credit status
- Debts
- Family Status
- Religious Beliefs
- Social Activities
- Race
- Have you ever been arrested?
If you do seem to face any of these questions remember to either try to explain how this is not relevant to your professional experience, or try to distinguish other skills instead of the ones asked. LinkedIn Influencer Bernard Marr explains how to tackle these questions in the following article.
