Procurement Process Manager (JN -082019-4017)

Our client is a leading telecommunication and digital services provider which serves 50 million customers and employees over 12,000 people around the world. They are currently looking for a Procurement Process Manager. This role will manage the Procurement Process and ensure Compliance in support of the Group and Opco Category management and Procure-to-Pay activities.

 

Responsibilities

Manage and Develop Procurement governance, process and KPIs

·      Support the definition of the target procurement organization and governance

·      Manage the agreed governance (Group and Opcos)

·      Define, detail and implement the target procurement processes, covering category mgt., sourcing, supplier mgt., and Request-to-PO processes including related master data

·      Define and implement the procurement KPI framework and automation

Strengthen the Procurement Controls

(in collaboration with Group Internal Control, Group Compliance)

·      Anticipate requirements of Group and HQ procurement controls

·      Develop, lead and track the implementation of required control improvements

·      Ensure formal process documentation, training and progress reporting

·      Coordinate best-practice sharing between Group-level and Opco-Level

Manage and strengthen the Procurement IT Tools

(In collaboration with IT)

·      Identify the roadmap for improving Procurement IT tools

·      Manage the implementation and the integration of Procurement IT tools with those of other functional areas, i.e. ERP

·      Ensure the roll-out and adoption of the selected Procurement IT tools

·      Train, report and escalate to improve the tools adoption and quality

·      Coordinate best-practice sharing between Group-level and Opco-Level

Ensure and roll-out procurement training across the Company

·      Identify training needs, within the procurement teams, the internal clients and suppliers

·      Define training approach, and training materials

·      Ensure implementation of required training

Drive the necessary transformations to make process, tools and KPIs more robust

·      Define digital procurement transformation roadmap and project plan

·      Project manage the main transformation initiatives

Education / Training

·      Graduate-level qualification, ideally in Engineering, Procurement, Business or IT

·      Procurement certifications highly valued (e.g CIPS, CPSM)

·      Lean Six Sigma experience highly valued
