As a SE, you would provide the greatest approach to selling software that makes a difference in the construction environment.

Role Summary:

As a Sales Engineer (SE), your role is to provide industry knowledge and product alignment in a team-selling environment, working in conjunction with Account Executives and Business Development Reps. The SE’s role is to utilize their industry and product knowledge to help a prospect envision how our client’s products can best fit their business and process requirements.


Qualifications / Requirements


· 2+ years prior experience in an implementation Consultant or Project Manager role

· 3+ years prior experience in a Sales Engineer or related position

· Construction industry process experience

· Demonstrate a strong analytical, process-oriented mindset and capability

· Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

· Experience with selling complex, consultative value-driven engagements

· Ability to solve problems using a creative and logical mindset

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite



  • Communicate with prospects on their level, using their language and being an expert in navigating both business and technical questions; from all levels within an organization

· Ability to provide online and onsite technical demonstrations and presentations to prospects/customers.

· Responsible for uncovering client needs and addressing those needs as part of the sales and demonstration strategy

· Support the AE’s ability to position our client’s products as the system of choice and become an expert in overcoming objections

· Configure solutions in our client’s products and demonstrate the benefits to the prospect

· Work with the Sales team to execute the sales pursuit strategy

· Support the Proposal team in the development and refinement of RFx responses, as assigned

· Responsible for reading and interpreting clients’ requirements into client solutions and proposals

  • Responsible to define, schedule, and manage the demonstration preparation process, ensuring the environment and scripts are complete and meet all prospect requirements
  • Responsible for collaborating with Sales to set win themes for our proposals and ensuring our pricing is competitive and aligned with our client’s pricing policies

· Develop, maintain, and facilitate product demonstration

· Other duties as assigned

Education / Training

· BS/BA or equivalent education and relevant experience
